Tonight we begin to pay our respects to David Lynch with the first part of our retrospective: Sailor (Nicholas Cage) and Lula's (Laura Dern) wild and exhilarating road trip romance. BLUE VELVET aside, this was Lynch's most successful film and earned him the Palme d'or at the 1990 Cannes Film Festival.
